Portaria n.º 293/2024/1 was published last week, on November 15^th, defining the reference countries to be considered for price calculation and the criteria for annual price revision (RAP) of 2025.

The deadlines for RAP 2025 were also defined.

• For non-generic medicinal products, new maximum prices must be submitted to INFARMED up to 15^th December 2024, which will come into force in 1^st January 2025.
• For generic medicinal products, new maximum prices must be submitted to INFARMED up to 15^th January 2025, which will come into force in 1^st February 2025.
